The gentle city of Muscat is a pleasure to explore, scenically wedged between mountains and the coast, with ancient forts and fine museums, an opera house and flower-filled parks. Its name means ‘safe anchorage’ and to this day the sea plays an important role in urban life, supporting the seafood industry and providing tourists with opportunities to swim from sandy beaches or dive in nearby lagoons with turtles.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Muscat

Your journey begins with your arrival at Muscat International Airport. After Immigration clearance, baggage collection & customs you will proceed to the arrival hall to meet the tour representative and proceed to the Hotel. You will then stay overnight at the hotel in Muscat.

Day 2: Half Day Muscat City Tour

Enjoy youe early morning breakfast at the hotel. You will then be picked up from the hotel and proceed to visit the Grand highlight of the Muscat city. The handmade carpets, the chandeliers, the ceiling of the great dome in the main prayer room are absolute ‘must sees’. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the colourful Muttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop to the magnificent Al Alam Palace, official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. Proceed to visit Bait Al Zubair Museum to have a glimpse of Oman’s history. Proceed back to the Hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Muscat. (B)

Day 3: Dolphin Watching

Enjoy your early morning breakfast at the hotel then you will be transferred from Muscat to Marina to embark on a boat as we search the seas for Dolphins and Whales. We will then proceed back to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure and you can be on your own. You can explore the city or enjoy hotel facilities. You will then stay overnight at the hotel in Muscat. (B)

Day 4: Departure

Enjoy your early morning breakfast at the hotel and get ready to leave for the airport for departure. Keep your travel documents handy.
